Spokesman Adam Abadir confirmed Euphoria is the first restaurant to be ordered closed due to alleged violations of the city's Covid restrictions , which require bar and restaurant patrons to wear masks at all times unless they are seated and eating or drinking.
Letitia Dzirasa said events "like those depicted on social media at Euphoria are exactly the type of 'super-spreader' events that have led to dozens of coronavirus cases around the country. Representatives of the club could not immediately be reached for comment Tuesday.
Over the weekend, they issued a statement to Fox 45 saying the club does "due diligence in strictly enforcing all state and city guidelines in place for Covid" but that it has been "difficult" to enforce mask-wearing when patrons leave the premises.
